Welcome to Colegio de Sta. Lourdes
Dr. Rustico “Rusty” Balderian left Tabontabon in 1971 at fifteen, the son of a sari-sari store owner. He worked as a factory hand, a street vendor and a private driver while studying, finishing optometry and then medicine at Manila Central University. In 2003 he came home and opened this college on one condition: nobody would be turned away for money.

Purpose-built laboratories and training areas for the BS Criminology programme — from a ballistics lab to a permanent crime-scene room.
Academics
Nursing is what the college was founded to teach. Criminology and Entrepreneurship have since joined it — three four-year degrees, all on the same campus, all on scholarship.
Finish Grades 11 and 12 on the same scholarship campus — an Academic (STEM) track and a TechPro track in Caregiving, both leading straight into our college degrees. Applications are open.

Anatomy pictures of all 11 organ systems, a body you can peel layer by layer from skin to skeleton, a virtual dissection of a silicone cadaver, a 3D animation of blood flowing through the heart and its valves, nursing assessment notes, normal lab values, common disorders and quick quizzes. Made for 1st-year Nursing students.
Practicum
Every programme puts students into real practice before they graduate — but the shape of that practice is different in each one.
1,080 hours of hospital, rural health unit and community duty, supervised by a clinical instructor at a ratio of 1:8, with a procedure log signed for the PRC.
Duty with police and correctional agencies, the log countersigned by the agency itself. Hours count only once the agency signs them off.
Each student registers and operates their own enterprise, assessed against milestones by a review panel rather than by hours on a placement.

Dr. Rustico B. Balderian attended the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) 32nd Founding Anniversary and the 6th National Higher Education Day at the HRDC Gymnasium, Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City.

The College Admission Test for incoming students is on 5 June 2026 at 9:00 AM. Bring Form 138, PSA birth certificate, Certificate of Good Moral Character, two 2×2 photos and a long brown envelope.
Enrolment open
Enrolment for the coming school year is now open, with classes starting 22 June 2026. Nursing, Criminology and Entrepreneurship are all accepting students.

Applications are reviewed on academic record and interview. Financial need does not count against you here — it is assumed. Every student who is admitted studies on scholarship.
Step one
Bring originals and one photocopy of each. If a document is still being processed by your school, apply anyway and tell us in the form — we will hold your slot.
The process

The admissions office contacts you with your exam date, time and what to bring.
Both are held on campus on the same day. Bring your documents and a valid ID. Live far away? Book an online interview.
Admitted applicants receive an enrolment checklist and a deadline. The registrar issues your COR.
Tuition and fees
Fill this in with your current figures. Even if tuition is fully covered, families still want to know about uniforms, RLE fees, books, board and lodging, and PRC-related costs in the final year. Being specific here removes the single biggest reason people never inquire.

Senior High at CSLL is built to open the college door, not to price you out of it.
No tuition standing between you and Grades 11 and 12. The same scholarship tradition the college was founded on now covers Senior High.
Both programmes are built for health careers — STEM prepares you for Nursing and allied health, and Caregiving gives you a TESDA certificate and hands-on patient care. Graduate ready for college, on the same campus.
